Sawtooth Mountain Clinic Welcomes New Marriage and Family Therapist
Sawtooth Mountain Clinic (SMC) is excited to announce the addition of Lindsey Gau, LAMFT, to the team as a Behavioral Health Consultant. Lindsey is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and joins SMC as part of our continued expansion of behavioral health services.
“Lindsey brings a strong background in supporting the emotional wellbeing of individuals and families, with a special focus on strengthening relationships and communication within family systems,” say Cecilia Bloomquist, SMC’s Behavioral Health Director. “Her addition enhances our commitment to whole-person, whole-family care—supporting not only individuals, but the interconnected lives they are part of.”
Lindsey earned her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Wisconsin-Stout in2013. She has called Grand Marais home since 2015 and began her impactful work at the Violence Prevention Center (VPC) in 2017, serving as its director for the last 5 years. Her 8 years of experience at the VPC will be an invaluable resource for our behavioral health team at SMC.
This is the first time SMC has had a Marriage and Family Therapist on staff, and we are thrilled to finally be able to offer this service to the community. Lindsey is licensed to work with individuals, couples, and families.
